Thank-you to everyone in the Geurink and Holster families for all your help in putting this family history together. You were all so kind in dealing with my many phone calls and e-mails!
I want to send a special thank-you to Paul & Anne Stuit in the Netherlands. Paul is a history teacher and helped his wife, who is in the Oonk family, explore her family tree. They sent me the Ancestor listing for Hermina Oonk, thus we are able to trace one side of our family back to the early 1600's.
To Mr. Leonard Meyer, I want to say how much I appreciate your graciousness in loaning me "boxes" of Aunt Willy Geurink's writings and pictures. They have been an invaluable part of this project! One of the reasons Aunt Willy said she wrote down her memories and thoughts was to be able to preserve them for the sake of her children and their children after them. She felt we needed these roots - so I hope you enjoy reading her additions to this record.
To Mrs. Annie Geurink, I enjoyed our afternoons together over this past year! You have been very patient in answering the many questions I've brought top you. Thank-you very much for allowing me to use your previous writings about the Geurink family within this project. I thank God for your memory!
