Miss Joann Smith, Ringle, and Miss Joann Schroeder, Birnamwood, sang “The Twenty-Third Psalm” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” The traditional Wagner and Mendelssohn wedding marches were played.

The soloists and the bride’s aides were her school friends at the Bimamwood High School. The former wore ballerina-length dresses in blue and pink and they and the organist had corsages matching their dresses and the rhinestone bracelets received from the bride.

Miss Virginia Clark, Bimamwood, was the maid of honor and the three bridesmaids were the Misses Joann Grill, of that village, Sally Sickler, Ringle, and Shirley Zahrt, Town of Easton. Pamela Schultz, Bowen, Ill., served as flower girl.

The entrained skirt of net over satin had vertical panels of lace. Her coronation crown with pearls secured a finger-tip veil of fine net and she held a shower bouquet of red roses with streamers caught with fern sprays and tiny rosebuds. The pin on her purse was from her aunt’s wedding gown. Her pearl jewelry set was a gifl of the groom.

The maid of honor was in light blue and the bridesmaids in pink, aqua and yellow nylon net over taffeta gowns. The strapless bodices had stoles and the waistlines were accented with flowers. Ruffles trimmed the skirts at one side. The flower girl wore a gown of light blue nylon net over taffeta featuring a hoop skirt and a bodice styled like the brides. Her veil was of blue net.

All wore sprays of flowers, harmonizing with their gowns, in their hair and carried colonial bouquets of complementing flowers with ribbons the colors of their dresses. Their necklaces were gifts of the bride.

Mrs. Nauta was present in a light aqua linen suit dress with white accessories and Mrs. Leider in a light rose suit with navy blue accessories. Red and white roses formed their corsages.
